I have always admired the Vespa as a means
of transportation and as an element of design, but I had never considered it a symbol of Italy abroad.
When I arrived in Thailand, I realized to what extent the Vespa, especially older models, is present and how it has
maintained its status of class and elegance.
I felt both pleased and proud.
From this came the desire to make the Vespa the subject of my photographs.
Photographing its details, the very same characteristic details that made
the Vespa a legend in the world of the two-wheelers, I began to cut and recompose.
